I am a registered Psychologist based in Bankstown, South West Sydney, and I am dedicated to supporting you wherever you are on your journey.
I have a special interest in understanding how identity develops and is shaped through culture, relationships, trauma, and life transitions. In our work together, I will collaborate with you to explore the behavioural patterns, core beliefs, experiences, and memories that may be holding you back. I aim to provide you with personalised strategies that can support you in creating a meaningful life and moving beyond simply surviving.
I recognise that seeking mental health support can sometimes carry stigma. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where your cultural values and beliefs are respected, and where you feel empowered to make meaningful changes. Sessions are not always rigidly structured, allowing you the opportunity to bring forward reflections or concerns that feel most important to you in the moment.
My experience has been predominantly in private practice, working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of mental health concerns. I have also delivered group therapy programs in primary schools (including the Cool Kids Anxiety Program), within the NDIS sector, and in government organisations such as Headspace, where I focused on adolescent mental health.
My main areas of focus include women’s and adolescent mental health, anxiety disorders (including OCD, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, and specific phobias), PTSD and C-PTSD, domestic and narcissistic abuse, depression, eating disorders, and a range of life challenges such as bullying, divorce, workplace stress, and chronic pain.
In our initial sessions, I take the time to understand your unique life story and the goals you would like to work toward. I draw on a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches—including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
My approach is flexible and tailored to your individual needs, always guided by what you would like to gain from therapy.
