Meet Zahra - Founder & Principal Psychologist

Zahra is a warm and compassionate psychologist that is committed to supporting you- wherever you are on the journey. Zahra has a special interest in how identity forms - through culture, relationships, trauma and transitions.  She will work collaboratively with you to help uncover the patterns, beliefs and experiences that may be holding you back and provide you with personalised strategies to assist.   


Zahra has experience working with individuals across the lifespan in private clinics, the NDIS sector, government organisations and delivering group therapy in schools across Sydney. 


She has worked with a variety of mental health presentations such as: PTSD & C-PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, OCD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Depression, and other various life challenges & transitions (Bullying, Divorce, Work Stress, Chronic Pain).   


Zahra also has a special interest working with individuals who have experienced Domestic and Narcissistic Abuse, and engages in advocacy work in this area.   


Zahra utilises a variety of therapeutic modalities  such as Eye Movement Desensitisation Re-Processing (EMDR) Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT),  Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Based Therapy  and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).  

Zahra's Formal Training & Qualifications

Zahra has completed a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is a Registered Psychologist with AHPRA.

She continues to attend regular professional development, and has completed the following training:

  • Cool Kids Anxiety Program: Facilitator Course
  • Eye Movement Desensitisation Re-Processing Therapy (Level 1)
  •  Principles and Practise of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Attachment-Based Case Formulation and Intervention
  • Sutherland Shire Council: Coercive Control Training
  • Navigating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy-Harvest Clinic 
  • Culturally Responsive Practice Strategies for Children's Mental Health
  • Westmead Feelings Program I: Facilitator Certification Course (ASD with mild intellectual disability)
