Medicare Rebated Sessions
We offer Medicare-rebated psychology sessions under the Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP). If you have a referral from your GP and a valid plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. The medicare rebate for Registered Psychologists is $98.95.
We also accept referrals under the Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly EPC) for clients with complex or long-term physical conditions who may benefit from psychological support. You can access up to 5 Medicare-rebated allied health sessions per calendar year, including psychology.

For individuals who have exhausted their 10 sessions under a Mental Health Care Plan within the same calendar year, a Chronic Disease Management Plan may be a helpful option, allowing access to up to an additional 5 Medicare-rebated sessions in that calendar year.
Please note that Medicare-Rebated sessions only apply for individual therapy and does not cover couples counselling sessions.
