Taylor is a Registered Psychologist who works with adolescents and adults experiencing difficulties with managing their emotions, impulsive and addictive behaviours, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions.
She has experience working in custodial settings, supporting clients to better understand the factors contributing to their offending behaviours and develop strategies to reduce the risk of reoffending. This work has included helping clients build healthier ways to cope with difficult emotions, strengthen their communication skills, and develop healthier problem-solving strategies.
Taylor’s therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and flexibility. She aims to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgemental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and challenges.
She values a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside clients to understand their unique experiences, identify their goals, and develop strategies to support their psychological wellbeing.
Taylor is passionate about providing personalised care that reflects each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. She draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies, adapting her approach to best support each client.
